How to switch off AddSync AI, for one person or for everybody.
You are in control of access, and you can end it in one place. We want you to know the exit before you start, so here it is.
Pick the right switch
Three levels, from small to complete.
One person
Remove the person from the people who may use AI. Their access ends.
Exchange Server
Disable the service user in Exchange. The connection stops, and no mailbox is reachable.
Everything
End the pilot or the licence, and remove the connection on your side.
What stays, what goes
After you switch it off
- The AI cannot reach the mailbox any more.
- No new questions are possible.
- Your mail is where it always was.
What you may want to check
- The journal for past activity.
- Your own AI tool: remove its connection on that side too.
- Your plan with the AI provider.
Questions
Is anything left in my mailbox?
Mail stays untouched. Drafts the AI saved are normal drafts in your Drafts folder.
Can I restart later?
Yes. Add the person or enable the service user again.
Does the pilot end by itself?
The pilot lasts 14 days. See the pilot page for the terms.
Stop talking about it. Test it.
Connect a few mailboxes for 14 days. Your rules, your filter, your journal. If it does not earn its place, switch it off.
